We Want Him as Nigerian President in 2023

Image
He is from the East and still extends his hand of friendship across the Niger. He has majority of his friends from the north and built his political circle amongst Nigerians of all ethnic groups.  Have I told you that he is a man of content? Maybe you do not know. He would only dedicate his days serving Nigeria if given the opportunity. His days at Abia State as the governor which lasted for 18 months recorded massive breakthrough for the Abians thus; 1. He gave Abia State tourist attractions 2. Abia State University which kicked off at the formerly Imo State University, Uturu Campus  3. Michael Okpara University of Agriculture Umudike 4. Abia State Polytechnic Aba  5. Federal college of Agriculture Ishiagu now in Ebonyi State 6. Cited the Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida (IBB) Technology Village Complex Uburu, which regime truncation altered 7. Established the Broadcasting Corporation of Abia (BCA) Umuahia 8. JOIN US TO PLEAD WITH HIM (DR. OGBONNAYA ONU) TO ACCEPT OUR PLEA AND RUN

Image
We have taken these few weeks to interact with the electorate of Nigeria about the 2023 general elections and especially on the topic of who should succeed President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023. The spirit is high and the expectations are mounting. Everyone agrees that Nigeria needs a creative mind and someone who is imbued with the skills of production rather than consumption. This is the position of greater number of articulate Nigerians. When these mentions are made as they reverberate, it seems like they are all referring to just one man; DR. Ogbonnaya Onu. The star is rising and the tempo is rapturous. The sky smiles as the winds cares in bliss. It's amazing, the reception, the acceptance, the attraction, the love and the joy. It's just simply seems that God is about to bless Nigeria. In line with God's blessings on our dearly beloved country Nigeria, we must begin to work out means and modalities to actualize His promises. One great work to do as such is to join your voi...

AS WE MOURN THE DEPARTURE OF CHIEF BARR. LUCIUS NWOSU (SAN) By KEMKA S. IBEJI

Image
The perfection of mortality is introduced by the reality of death and so thinkers will always hold that death defines humanity in the pure characteristics of beginning and end. It is therefore to say that to be human is to die at last. Our dear nation was brought into mourning at the news of the death of our beloved Barr. Lucius Nwosu. He was an illustrious son of Mbaise from Udo in Ezinihitte Mbaise LGA, Imo State.  He rose to international reckoning and repute as legal icon and a juridical lover of wisdom. He spoke to the world through the prisms of the statutes and tickled human existence with his wits under the wigs. Chief Barr. Lucius Nwosu has performed the mortal act and enunciated his humanity in this performance. Indeed, he was human. But now, he has joined our ancestors. To the living therefore, I send my condolences; to his immediate family, his extended family, the Uhuala kindred, the Udo community, Ezinihitte and the entire Mbaise nation at large. My sincere prayers ar...

THE MORAL BANDITS MUST BE AFRAID OF THE GOOD MAN; DR. OGBONNAYA ONU Written by KEMKA S. IBEJI

Image
I read with grave shock the hatchet job done in the unfortunate pieces of words raised against Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu stating that "He sees himself as the anointed candidate of the APC". That was too much of a horror orchestrated by demonic fingers to demean the personality of that great good man. With intents to stall our call on Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu to see it as wise decision to consider contesting for the position to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023, some people who do not mean well for Nigeria have gone clandestine seeking to tarnish the image of a good man. Wait a minute; they have failed!  The writer of that condemnable and abominable piece started his article as a prediction but changed gear midway and began to sound like a disordered mix of a doomsday prophetess and agent of destruction. The writer fashioned in his imagination certain events that existed only in his hallucinatory mind.  For our class of experts, we understand clearly what that piece was meant to ach...

WHY ALL NIGERIANS ACROSS THE WORLD SHOULD JOIN US TO DEMAND FOR DR. OGBONNAYA ONU AS PRESIDENT OF NIGERIA IN 2023. Written by KEMKA S. IBEJI

Image
Such a time in the history of Nigeria, she deserves to move forward. Since the return to democracy in 1999, Nigeria has gone through phases and only very few can understand that time has come for a renewal, reinvention, reintroduction and revaluation of Nigeria. Such task demands a thorough bred and seasoned mind to mount the saddle and lift the country. We are clouded with very interesting experiences at the moment in our national history that one could liken to near collapse. No one is sure of the next moment and everyone offers confusing admixtures of solutions. That may go for a country that needs to survive but it is not enough to desire survival, we all need to work for and towards it. The security of the country, the unity of Nigeria, the national economy, the welfare of citizens, public discourse and the dreams of our past heroes are in terrible fears. It is not a time to build up more confusions by electing those who live, breathe and inhale disorder. It is not time to choose ...

WILLIE OBIANO SAID THAT EFCC CAUGHT HIM WHILE HE WAS RUNNING TO CATCH UP WITH HIS DOCTOR

Image
This is a very apt presentation of Nigeria and her leadership. There is still nothing different with those already hanging about for 2023. A system where those who are struggling to lead you don't trust themselves. How can someone lead a system he doesn't trust in the first place? Is this not self-deception? Is it not an immoral act of deceiving yourself and the people? How on earth can one even be on the side of these heartless ingrates who handle political power within our purview?  Leadership has a lot to do with morality and knowledge. No wonder the Greek Philosopher Socrates asserted that knowledge is virtue. Indeed, knowledge is virtue! That Obiano was running out of Anambra State and Nigeria few minutes after his tenure as Governor of the state for medical service purposes?  How else can anyone explain Obiano running away to meet his medical doctor for treatment after Solid 8 years in office as a Governor than stating that he is a woe to himself? In 8 years this sick he...

IGBO CHILDREN AND WEAKLINGS IN PDP CLAP ALL THE WAY Written by KEMKA S. IBEJI

An Igbo adage holds that only cowards blame their mother in the presence of her assaulter. This is an attribute of the weak, foolish and powerless. If you are a strong man or woman, whenever your mother offends someone, the person comes to you to plead for restitution or amends from your mother. Only the weak is not thought about in such situations. The mother of the weak is like a childless woman and the weak lives as if he or she is inexistent. This same reality is suffered by children. Most times, poor children resort to crying as they are helpless while their mother is assaulted and abused. Only a bad and unreasonable child goes to play when his or her mother is being manhandled by someone else. All Igbos in the PDP at the moment are weaklings and bad children who are out for play while their mother is not just merely manhandled but raped mercilessly. This can only describe an imbecilic child. I read the campaign preludes of Atiku Abubakar, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso Kwankwaso and Tambuw...

SOCCER STARS TURNED BAMBI ALLAH Written by KEMKA S. IBEJI

Image
Apart from the round leather game, these guys are largely useless to themselves and the country. We are proud of them when they played for the country in the game of soccer and it has to stop there. Their pride and honour on the field of play does not defeat the fact that a great number of them are illiterates and lack good judgement in a lot of social, economic and political issues. I personally will urge them to toe the line of the Liberian soccer legend, George Weah, who went back to school and equipped himself adequately for leadership. These ones here are either gamblers or those whom business people use their names to arouse cheap funds from people and most times people are scammed by their names yet they have borne no responsibilities for their infamous involvement in all that sham.  Of course, it will be a national catastrophe to allow these less professionals in other areas of life to make political decisions for us. The simplest thing to do is to look at them critically a...

THE MEANING OF DEATH Written by KEMKA S. IBEJI

Image
Have you ever imagined it? Giving out your last breath And no one is there to cry No one to straighten your body Just you alone and no one else Have you ever wondered? How it feels lying lonely there So cold and speechless No company and no sound Just you alone and no one else What difference does it make? When life is gone When feelings are no more When meanings are lost Gone, no more and lost forever Fear is nothing In the face of no meaning Life and all rest on meaning All is null without meaning But death takes away meaning I wish meaning can for a time Have some power over death I wish the murderer can be born The murderer of death itself That'll mean immortality Immortality is meaning forever Everlasting life to all we need; Feelings, fear, sounds and more When shall it be? In our life or when we're gone? But one day it will be We shall live without it Meaning nothing anymore And life will be forevermore Just forever and ever

THE CRAVE FOR WORLD PEACE ON THE RESOLUTION OF THE UKRAINE-RUSSIA CRISIS OF THE MOMENT Written by KEMKA S. IBEJI

Image
It is almost a usual chorus trumpeting once more and again that in international politics, "might is right and justice is the interest of the stronger". This cliché has remained in the mind and heart of students of international politics for so many years. One particular norm or cliché the craftsmen and women of that earliest cliché have missed to provide is what happens in a situation of equal strength and balance of terror. I am sure they would recline and accept the objectivity of justice and sanctity of morality. It therefore simply speaks to us that international politics is an arena of bullies and power tyranny. This reminds us of the mechanisation of minds across the world by the powers that be. Especially, when any world power lasts so long in our consciousness, they seem to penetrate our substance and subconsciousness to the extent that we cease to ask questions about whatever they do. Most of the time, they assume the status and stature of moral police and become im...

A KINGDOM TORN APART BY THE BADS Written by KEMKA S. IBEJI

Image
Gush! It's a dream world here Everyone seems tired They're worn out and weak The jubilant is so uncertain The other is angry but bizarre The players have same mind One celebrant today, another tomorrow  Innatism of notorious betrayals  We're victorious We're triumphant Those who shout are afraid What a celebration in fears Do they know what they want The crown of idiots won by one Won for mad ego and no more No home, no knowledge Not regally and no character Don't envy this overbalancing crown It'll be vain and null at last  Nihilism of mores is her substance Our culture is in quagmire Our land in shatters and tatters  We have rejected their overlordship  They won't reign over us Over there are men of mischief A band of betrayals disguised Holy at day, harlots at night A meeting of suspects Trust is a hard currency within They'll never be faithful Their unity is a chaff The weight is crass and empty Once they jubilated Then we saw who they're They...

WHY I DECIDED TO FUND THE PURCHASE OF NOMINATION AND EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FORMS FOR DR. OGBONNAYA ONU IF HE DECLARES TO RUN FOR PRESIDENCY IN 2023 By KEMKA S. IBEJI

Image
In the run up to the renascent democracy in 1999, the country was rich with expectations and wishes. They were all for the good of Nigeria after the military era. The games for the succession began and the intrigues ran through. Unfortunately, while the then junta was out to ensure transition from the military to civil rule, it was indeed ill prepared. The preparation had no inclusion of any directional philosophy and what looked like it was well tuned to address the concerns and challenges to come. The junta had a cursory carpentry of the constitution and such became the sickness of the governments to come. Bedeviling the political party that won power, the PDP began on a badly set out race and ran it aimlessly for solid sixteen years. The end of that sixteen years witnessed the drastic horror; an experience that held but will never happen again. Though the Goodluck Jonathan administration has been praised by those who know almost nothing about leadership and whose lives and thought s...

I WILL BUY THE NOMINATION AND EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FORMS FOR DR. OGBONNAYA ONU IF HE DECLARES FOR 2023 PRESIDENCY: KEMKA S. IBEJI

Image
While I make efforts to reach Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu in a bid to persuade, encourage and make him see reason to contest and win the seat of the president of Nigeria in 2023, I have already set out plans to raise the funds to buy him Nomination and Expression of Interest forms of our party, the All Progressives Congress (APC). I have elected to do this on my own and with the help of my friends because of some reasons that are commonsense to all Nigerians who know this great man, Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu. They have said in various places that he does not have the money to propagate and fund the enormous amount involved in the Presidential Election. It is not strange to them that a former Governor, former presidential ticket holder, former ANPP national leader and a Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria since 2015 till this moment will not have the money because they know his personality. Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu is an impeccable being. He is incorruptible and unblemished. He is a contented man who i...

THE SHIMMER OF THE BLISTERING EAGLE: Dr. OGBONNAYA ONU. Written by KEMKA S. IBEJI

Image
I think he is the most deserving member of the APC to take over from President Muhammadu Buhari from 2023.  If you call him the star of Nigerian democracy, you would not have said too much of a bit of what he is or represents. Meek and mild, temperate and poised, focused and undeterred, steadfast and diligent, reliable and trustworthy. Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu can be said to be the most persevering politician in Nigeria approximate to President Muhammadu Buhari. A fine gentleman, blazing intelligence and a fascinating personality. He is not interested in taking praises but willing to keep working. He is the dreamer and visionary of the ruling party - the All Progressives Congress (APC). A dreamer and visionary is indeed greater than a leader though Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu doubles as both the dream owner and visionary leader of the APC. He exudes tranquility, calmness and stability. Why is Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu the best to lead Nigeria as her president after President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023? The a...

OUR GOVERNMENT IS A TERRORIST AND ENABLER OF OUR NATIONAL INSECURITIES. Written by KEMKA S. IBEJI

Image
Whenever one is reminded or thinks of government, the first thing that occurs to mind is those who tell us what to do in the community. We remember the fears from tax enforcement, levies on the salaries of public and civil servants, bills from electricity, water, tolls and more. Again, especially in Nigeria, we always have in mind the issues of monthly state allocations and the sharing of money in Abuja. Other things we have in our memories once we hear of government are the police who stop you on the road for #50 (fifty Naira), the EFCC that dabbles into every issue ranging from personal and interpersonal businesses to domestic matters, the judiciary that sell judgements in their supermarkets dubbed courts, the legislators who fight for money at the National Assembly buildings and engage in all manner of contract businesses in the name of constituency projects and sorts. We also won't forget their clownish committees where money is severally shared, where budget defenders are hara...

IF LOYALTY MUST DETERMINE THE SUCCESSOR OF PRESIDENT MUHAMMADU BUHARI... Written by KEMKA S. IBEJI

Image
Just like in the days preceeding rainfall or rainy season, the sky has turned heavy and the rest parts of our thinking have gotten boldly pregnant with huge uncertainties. Many who will want to be seen as tactically sound have amassed so much on their desks of political analysis and flipping through pages for sticking predictions. The field workers have gone to farm ploughing their fingers out with the hope to come home with the raw stones for refinement and subsequent windfall. The bright sky has made itself the most fearsome slippery substance. Who knows what will happen? The foregoing question will determine the life of millions of people in and out of Nigeria and Africa as the largest black country in the world gets set for change of political baton in 2023. Nigeria will, once again, go to the polls to make choice of who manages the common will of the commonwealth from 2023. Hitherto, media Maradonas especially from the Southwestern part of Nigeria who are trying to mold public min...

BIAFRA AND HER PEOPLE YESTERDAY, TODAY AND TOMORROW. Written by KEMKA S. IBEJI

Image
The pursuit, yearning, craving and fight for Biafra has lingered since the 60s especially ranging from the prelude of the Civil War through the war to this present time. Changes in dimensions and forms have been attributed to the reactions of the government at all times. It is very clear to put out the fact that while the people, after the war, have continued to remind themselves of the idea and have asked questions of their existence in Nigeria with very peaceful dispositions, the government has continued visiting them with excruciating violence that has let to the death of a great number of the young people of the Southeast especially. Associations have sprouted and blossomed while many have waned and died. Even more keep springing up each day concerning Biafra, her identity and her people.  Amidst all the agitations and protestations, very important aspects of such craving have been ignored and left out. This is the most insensitive act in this struggle and if it is persistently...

FREE CITIZENS AND FREE PRISONERS Written by KEMKA S. IBEJI

Image
Here in the society are all. You are either a free citizen or a free prisoner. But a free prisoner is not a citizen still. There are a few things that entail and enforce citizenship. At the background, as received by institutional understanding, of all is freedom. This makes for the most time, the reference to the word - Free Citizen. But there are questions that have not been considered by everyone or a lot of people.  According to popular avowal, to be a citizen is to be free within the community, to be free to move around, free to associate, free to talk, free to vote and be voted for. Freedom and freewill are very significant to being a citizen. This is why in the ancient Greek polis, certain class of humans are not classified as citizens. It is however very easy to identify such people when you adopt a method that allows you go through their being free. Such people as slaves and prisoners are not citizens in the primordial understanding and it is so even in this era. Though th...
