THE SUPER EAGLES POINT TO THE PEACE OF NIGERIA...

Nigeria has not known this peace in over 30 months now. The Super Eagles of Nigeria have healed the sick, raised the dying, and given hope for Nigeria. One particular lesson the government of Nigeria should take home and to heart by the winning of the Super Eagles of Nigeria against the tamed Indomitable Lions of Cameron yesterday is that success begets peace and that Nigerians hate failure. The bonding agents of Nigeria keeps getting weaker and loosened by the day for reasons which the Super Eagles have laid bare today. Imagine if our power/electricity doesn't go off for 365 Days. Imagine if all the major and serving roads across Nigeria are smooth and safe like the ones in Abuja and many others in the Northern part of Nigeria. Imagine if our schools from primary to tertiary are active, qualitative, affordable and classed with their co in other parts of the world that Nigerian children don't need to travel beyond our shores to get quality education. Imagine if, li

HOW OCHOUDO MARTIN AGBASO EMERGED ACTING NATIONAL CHAIRMAN OF APGA. Written by Speedwell Chukwuemeka Onyewuotu

HOW OCHOUDO MARTIN AGBASO EMERGED ACTING NATIONAL CHAIRMAN OF APGA Those who out of desperation, mischief, jealousy, "Pull Him Down syndrome" or outright stupidity chose to misrepresent the facts can continue in their folly But for the sake of those who do not understand how it all happened and those who are ignorantly mislead I have decided to reproduce this here. ------------------------------------------------------------------- HOW OCHOUDO MARTIN AGBASO EMERGED ACTING NATIONAL CHAIRMAN OF APGA 1. On October 5, 2016,at an NWC meeting at the instance of the then Chairman Chief Victor Oye at the National Secretariat in Abuja, the National Working Committee (NWC) of the APGA took certain decisions against the leadership of the party. The NWC of APGA indicted and suspended the Ozo Victor Ike Oye, the national chairman as well as Alhaji Abubakar Adamu, the deputy national chairman, (North) and Chief Uche Okogbuo, the national deputy chairman (South) respectively, on m

ON THE IGBO EVICTION NOTICE BY THE AREWA YOUTH AND THE DEFINITION OF IGBO BY THE HAUSA/FULANI. Written by KEMKA S. IBEJI

I am more worried about our South-West brothers and sisters who are expecting the death of the Igbos in the North from the 1st of October, 2017 as ordered by the Arewa Youth proclamation of the 5th instant. Participant observers over the years have narrated the happenings in such times. According to their submissions, the Igbos did not only fight for the South-East and South-South before and during the Biafran war. The clearest truth is that the ordinary people of Igboland fought a war of all but suffered definition. That the Igbos suffered definition means that for the Hausa/Fulani, anybody who is not Hausa/Fulani Muslim is Igbo and arne! As the eviction notice has been sounded, the Yorubas who are jubilant at the moment are the real victims to come. This reminds me of the history of the beginning of the Biafra war as rendered by the participant observers of the pogrom. Those who witnessed it told us that it was not merely the Igbo speaking people that were killed but they we

TELL THE NORTHERNERS OF NIGERIA: ONLY A LANDLORD CAN QUIT HIS TENANT AND HE MUST FOLLOW THE RULES. Written by KEMKA S. IBEJI

After listening to the declaration of the said Arewa Youth, though old folks, I have no other resolve than to ask for Biafra the more. This people are so backward and unreasonable like the flock that support them elsewhere. Without sounding derogatory, I wish to categorically state that the Northerners are incapable of evicting the Igbos from the North. This is why they are trying to run on criminality. What the foolish broadcast is asking for is a fraud and criminal hijack of the hard earned money and investment of the Igbos in the northern part of Nigeria. All across the world today, we have examples of countries that have been given birth by another one. We have unions that have been dissolved and it does not go through criminal calls and records. When I say that the Northerners are incapable of evicting the Igbos from the North, I simply mean that if they must do so, they must firstly own the said property. It is only a landlord that can quit his or her tenant and I th

Why African Leaders Turn Thieves. By KEMKA S. IBEJI

It is very obvious that the west especially the merchants from Europe did not come to Africa for the good of African people. This is not really their fault but the systemic problem of the substructure upon which the superstructure of their society is constructed and placed. The principles of capitalism keep the lord of the means of production in a position that blindfolds his or her conscience. In this system, the man who milks the cow does not care about the state of the cow. Whether it is dying or in serious anguish is very inconsequential to the man who wants the milk. That the cow is crying unto death makes no sense to the milking man. In the above picture, Africa is the cow while the merchants from Europe are the milk men. It is now obvious why the relationship was built the way it grew. The demarcations of African nations were arbitrarily done with a mindset to keep Africa perpetually sick towards death or eternally ailing. Administrative units known to the locals were ext

The Hermeneutics of African Development: A Philosophy to Abide by. KEMKA S. IBEJI

If only Africa and her leaders can realize that culture and tradition are vital to understanding, they will definitely start to appreciate the importance of philosophy and especially African philosophy. Hermeneutics which is the Philosophy of Understanding has taught us of the situatedness of tradition in understanding. This simply means that in order to understand anything at all, be it expression in dialogue, discussion or discourse, music or any other work of art, science and technology, cosmology, law or any axiological endeavor, one glances into understanding through the binoculars of culture and tradition. If you need to exercise your power of thinking on the above assertion, you can take a little survey into comedy. Take up a comedy film produced and formed on the experience(s) of the West or the whiteman. Maybe you will at the end say it was actually a waste of time or that it was so dry. If you will, please take that same clip to the whites around you and see how they w
