THE MEANING OF DEATH Written by KEMKA S. IBEJI

Have you ever imagined it?
Giving out your last breath
And no one is there to cry
No one to straighten your body
Just you alone and no one else

Have you ever wondered?
How it feels lying lonely there
So cold and speechless
No company and no sound
Just you alone and no one else

What difference does it make?
When life is gone
When feelings are no more
When meanings are lost
Gone, no more and lost forever

Fear is nothing
In the face of no meaning
Life and all rest on meaning
All is null without meaning
But death takes away meaning

I wish meaning can for a time
Have some power over death
I wish the murderer can be born
The murderer of death itself
That'll mean immortality

Immortality is meaning forever
Everlasting life to all we need;
Feelings, fear, sounds and more
When shall it be?
In our life or when we're gone?

But one day it will be
We shall live without it
Meaning nothing anymore
And life will be forevermore
Just forever and ever
