We're set to have a sane government in 2027 with the Nigeria Democratic Congress team led by Mr. Peter Obi and Engr. Dr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso. Through the Vice Presidential candidate, the team has announced that political appointments in their government, to be formed from next year 2027, will not be informed by or coloured with political determinations and stiff stay but by competence and the wishes/demands of the citizens.  So for the first time after former President Olusegun Obasanjo, there is going to be a term of government appointees intensely populated by professionals and not incompetent politicians who know nothing except thuggery and nuisance.  The professionals brought in by President Obasanjo have either run back, overused, rendered valueless by politics, died or otherwise. Examples are Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Dora Akunyili, Ndii Okereke Onyiuke, Prof. Bath Nnaji, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, Nuhu Ribadu, Obiageli Oby Ezekwesili, Bode Agusto,...

Now they're saying it's power of incumbency that helped Gov. Ademola Adeleke. And I'm asking them if Oyetola and Tinubu with all those governors that besieged Osun State are not incumbent. It's the same story all seasons! When I was telling people that Goodluck Jonathan was going to lose the election to Buhari in 2015, most people even told me that I was mad. They said no President has ever lost on the seat here. But what happened? But immediately he lost, excuses started flying up and down. Now they're saying he was a weak man. Most of you still wear the same steel helmet saying that Bola Ahmed Tinubu is not like Goodluck Jonathan and that he's the master strategist. Ok. Let's wait and see.
