FOUR ILLOGICAL ARGUMENTS OF NNANNA RAPHAEL IGBOKWE FOR HIS 3RD TERM BID. Written by KEMKA S. IBEJI (King Solomon).

FOUR ILLOGICAL ARGUMENTS OF NNANNA RAPHAEL IGBOKWE FOR HIS 3RD TERM BID. Written by KEMKA S. IBEJI (King Solomon). The four illogical arguments of Nnanna Raphael Igbokwe and his campaign crew; 1. There's no such agreement for power sharing or zoning between Ahiazu and Ezinihitte anywhere. 2. There was no time that Nnanna Igbokwe did not contest against an Ezinihitte opponent (Mr. Kenneth Agbakwuru always handy for mention). 3. Ezinihitte people broke the agreement. 4. His 3rd tenure will make us have a Speaker or Deputy Speaker of the House. The above loosely woven words compartmentalized into four headings have become the common denominators and crux of all the campaigns for Nnanna Raphael Igbokwe's atrociouslying inordinate, selfish and greed-laden 3rd term bid and I want to unequivocally assert that they are merely diversionary, watery, flimsy and illogical. One therefore may wish to know how unreasonable the arguments are. Let's get at it together. From ...

The Unprecedented Level of Patience Shown to Buhari - An anonymous article in the public sphere

A certain article has overtaken the social media for a while now and there is something very significant about it. The important issue that got everyone asking about the article is that it was referred to as having been published by the London Economist. However, it baffles many readers how such beautiful piece could be abandoned to fake and unreal authorship. For whatever reason, the writer decided to veil himself with disappearance to notice and reference and abandoned his intellectual responsibility of either praise or blame on the London Economist who were unwilling to take responsibility of something strange to them. The article is however intriguing and deserves our consideration. Kindly read it if you have not read it. The Unprecedented Level of Patience Shown to Buhari. Nigerians have never shown such level of patience and tolerance towards any of their past leaders for his record and strange policies as that shown to their current leader, Muhammadu Buhari – a former m...

KEMKA S. IBEJI CONDEMNS THE CARNAGE IN PLATEAU STATE. Written by KIVO

Image
KEMKA S. IBEJI (King Solomon), the brightest contestant for the Federal House of Representatives in 2019 for Ahiazu/Ezinihitte Mbaise Federal Constituency under the platform of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has condemned in strongest term the invasion, rape and murder of humanity going on in Plateau State of Nigeria by the supposed herdsmen. Responding to the noble members of KEMKA IBEJI VICTORY ORGANIZATION (KIVO), he recalled the philosophical fulcrum of government and political leadership. He has the following to say; In Hobbesian social contract supposition, the state of nature was characterized with life being brute, solitary, short and nasty. According to the social contractarian, it was war of all against all. However, the allegory has it that a need to have value for life and live in organized sphere necessitated the coming into existence of the leviathan. This sovereign was gifted and bestowed upon with the common will of the hoipolloi to administer or manage ...

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE SUPER EAGLES OF NIGERIA AND ALL NIGERIANS!

Image
Yes we are celebrating the Super Eagles victory today and every Nigerian is happy and jubilant. This has happened many times but we don't seem to be relating the real lessons to our political system and electoral practices. Celebrating this winning has obliterated all cleavages of differences, discord, religious separatedness, ethnic biases, party disagreements and the like. Alas Nigerians are happy even in the midst of political uncertainties, economic hardships and lots more. Just like SECULAR ALTERNATIVES TO RELIGION, good governance should bring happiness, joy, fulfilment, growth, equitable wealth spread, economic development, social security, jobs and employment, empowerment and entrepreneurial development and encouragement, and many more as these to the people. Unfortunately, Nigerian leadership over the years have been found wanting in all of these areas of their task and asking. Though very momentarily, football especially this World Cup in Russia 2018 and ma...

BACK TO SENDER! HON. JOHN IWUALA FIRES BACK AT PMB: DEFENDS NIGERIAN YOUTHS.

"Nigerian youths are lazy & uneducated. Always wanting free oil money" ~ PMB Sir, you are absolutely correct. One of the lazy Nigerian youths who is enjoying free oil money had an accident with the power bike he bought with free oil money not too long ago, and he was flown abroad for treatment with free oil money, then he hired a jet with free oil money from London to Abuja after his treatment. Sir, I completely agree with you that the Nigerian youths are lazy and uneducated and always wanting free oil money. Their role models are in Aso Rock enjoying free oil money without even solving any problem for the country. When they are ill, they fly abroad for medical vacation with free oil money. Why would anyone disagree with you that the Nigerian youths are uneducated? It's very obvious. That's why they don't even know their rights. They keep defending your ineptitude. You enjoyed free education as a young man, but today the youths are deprived of basic ...

THE SUPER EAGLES POINT TO THE PEACE OF NIGERIA...

Nigeria has not known this peace in over 30 months now. The Super Eagles of Nigeria have healed the sick, raised the dying, and given hope for Nigeria. One particular lesson the government of Nigeria should take home and to heart by the winning of the Super Eagles of Nigeria against the tamed Indomitable Lions of Cameron yesterday is that success begets peace and that Nigerians hate failure. The bonding agents of Nigeria keeps getting weaker and loosened by the day for reasons which the Super Eagles have laid bare today. Imagine if our power/electricity doesn't go off for 365 Days. Imagine if all the major and serving roads across Nigeria are smooth and safe like the ones in Abuja and many others in the Northern part of Nigeria. Imagine if our schools from primary to tertiary are active, qualitative, affordable and classed with their co in other parts of the world that Nigerian children don't need to travel beyond our shores to get quality education. Imagine if, li...

HOW OCHOUDO MARTIN AGBASO EMERGED ACTING NATIONAL CHAIRMAN OF APGA. Written by Speedwell Chukwuemeka Onyewuotu

HOW OCHOUDO MARTIN AGBASO EMERGED ACTING NATIONAL CHAIRMAN OF APGA Those who out of desperation, mischief, jealousy, "Pull Him Down syndrome" or outright stupidity chose to misrepresent the facts can continue in their folly But for the sake of those who do not understand how it all happened and those who are ignorantly mislead I have decided to reproduce this here. ------------------------------------------------------------------- HOW OCHOUDO MARTIN AGBASO EMERGED ACTING NATIONAL CHAIRMAN OF APGA 1. On October 5, 2016,at an NWC meeting at the instance of the then Chairman Chief Victor Oye at the National Secretariat in Abuja, the National Working Committee (NWC) of the APGA took certain decisions against the leadership of the party. The NWC of APGA indicted and suspended the Ozo Victor Ike Oye, the national chairman as well as Alhaji Abubakar Adamu, the deputy national chairman, (North) and Chief Uche Okogbuo, the national deputy chairman (South) respectively, on m...

ON THE IGBO EVICTION NOTICE BY THE AREWA YOUTH AND THE DEFINITION OF IGBO BY THE HAUSA/FULANI. Written by KEMKA S. IBEJI

I am more worried about our South-West brothers and sisters who are expecting the death of the Igbos in the North from the 1st of October, 2017 as ordered by the Arewa Youth proclamation of the 5th instant. Participant observers over the years have narrated the happenings in such times. According to their submissions, the Igbos did not only fight for the South-East and South-South before and during the Biafran war. The clearest truth is that the ordinary people of Igboland fought a war of all but suffered definition. That the Igbos suffered definition means that for the Hausa/Fulani, anybody who is not Hausa/Fulani Muslim is Igbo and arne! As the eviction notice has been sounded, the Yorubas who are jubilant at the moment are the real victims to come. This reminds me of the history of the beginning of the Biafra war as rendered by the participant observers of the pogrom. Those who witnessed it told us that it was not merely the Igbo speaking people that were killed but they we...

TELL THE NORTHERNERS OF NIGERIA: ONLY A LANDLORD CAN QUIT HIS TENANT AND HE MUST FOLLOW THE RULES. Written by KEMKA S. IBEJI

After listening to the declaration of the said Arewa Youth, though old folks, I have no other resolve than to ask for Biafra the more. This people are so backward and unreasonable like the flock that support them elsewhere. Without sounding derogatory, I wish to categorically state that the Northerners are incapable of evicting the Igbos from the North. This is why they are trying to run on criminality. What the foolish broadcast is asking for is a fraud and criminal hijack of the hard earned money and investment of the Igbos in the northern part of Nigeria. All across the world today, we have examples of countries that have been given birth by another one. We have unions that have been dissolved and it does not go through criminal calls and records. When I say that the Northerners are incapable of evicting the Igbos from the North, I simply mean that if they must do so, they must firstly own the said property. It is only a landlord that can quit his or her tenant and I th...

Why African Leaders Turn Thieves. By KEMKA S. IBEJI

It is very obvious that the west especially the merchants from Europe did not come to Africa for the good of African people. This is not really their fault but the systemic problem of the substructure upon which the superstructure of their society is constructed and placed. The principles of capitalism keep the lord of the means of production in a position that blindfolds his or her conscience. In this system, the man who milks the cow does not care about the state of the cow. Whether it is dying or in serious anguish is very inconsequential to the man who wants the milk. That the cow is crying unto death makes no sense to the milking man. In the above picture, Africa is the cow while the merchants from Europe are the milk men. It is now obvious why the relationship was built the way it grew. The demarcations of African nations were arbitrarily done with a mindset to keep Africa perpetually sick towards death or eternally ailing. Administrative units known to the locals were ext...

The Hermeneutics of African Development: A Philosophy to Abide by. KEMKA S. IBEJI

If only Africa and her leaders can realize that culture and tradition are vital to understanding, they will definitely start to appreciate the importance of philosophy and especially African philosophy. Hermeneutics which is the Philosophy of Understanding has taught us of the situatedness of tradition in understanding. This simply means that in order to understand anything at all, be it expression in dialogue, discussion or discourse, music or any other work of art, science and technology, cosmology, law or any axiological endeavor, one glances into understanding through the binoculars of culture and tradition. If you need to exercise your power of thinking on the above assertion, you can take a little survey into comedy. Take up a comedy film produced and formed on the experience(s) of the West or the whiteman. Maybe you will at the end say it was actually a waste of time or that it was so dry. If you will, please take that same clip to the whites around you and see how they w...

A LAYMANS GUIDE OUT OF THE RECESSION. Written by Chief Chibuzo N. Ziggy Azike, Ksc.

A LAYMANS GUIDE OUT OF THE RECESSION This is a guide or road map by a man, whose knowledge of such “esoteric” science like Economics was learnt on the streets of the world; so calling me streetwise could be quite descriptive; lets go at how I think Nigeria can get out of the present economic quagmire and degraded Naira. First; lets rescue the Naira; CHANGE THE CURRENCY No, not all the denominations but the ₦500 and ₦1000. We read the gory tales of how one of our former Military Chiefs would order his military accountant/pay master to exchange more than ₦800 million for dollars and other currencies every month end; we have heard about the soakaways and water tanks filled with Naira; we have heard about how the security details of one high ranking politician carted away more than ₦300 Million cash in one fell swoop; all our money that is stolen at the Local Governments Level, embezzled at the State Governments, parastatals and all the MDA’s; All the pillaging and purloining, div...

HOW IGBO APGA MEMBERS CAN SUPPORT WINNING EDO GOVERNORSHIP ELECTION. Written by KEMKA S. IBEJI

HOW IGBO APGA MEMBERS CAN SUPPORT WINNING EDO GOVERNORSHIP ELECTION We need a rally or face to face chat with Igbos in Edo state. Statistics hold that 48% of the 1.9 million PVC holders  in Edo State are Igbos. That amounts to about 912,000 voters. I bet you that the winner of Edo State gubernatorial election will not get up to 400,000 votes. The clear fact is that with the slogan that APGA is Igbo party alone, Edo state will be comfortably won. I know that the slogan is no more fashionable in APGA since it is a national party but it can be accepted just for this purpose since all we want is to gain power in Edo state. Like our debate the last time on that slogan, certain view held that APGA should be sold to all tribes and ethnic groups in Nigeria with such idea. What that simply means is that we are giving ownership of the party to the local people. Like we have severally asserted, Edo state is possible. We have been on ground and we know that we just need a little mo...

APGA COMMITS TO WINNING EDO STATE, FORMS CRACKDOWN TEAM. Written by KEMKA S. IBEJI

In what seems a political assault to diminish the importance of the insignificant few who left the party's executive in Edo State some days ago, the National leadership of APGA has constituted a team of political experts to manage the campaigns of her candidate in the Edo gubernatorial election. The team tagged AD-HOC COMMITTEE FOR EDO GOVERNORSHIP ELECTION was commissioned with a mandate to put in everything to deliver the party's flagbearer Earl Osaro Onaiwu as the Governor of Edo State in the near election. Unveiling the crackdown team for the Edo capture, the National Chairman said; "Because of the importance of the Edo governorship  election and the impact we have made in the Edo State, particularly after our last memorable visit, it has become necessary to set up an interim election committee to oversee the affairs of the party in the state until after the rescheduled governorship election". He continued "This step has become inevitable considering...

EDO ELECTION: THE IGBO FACTOR By EMEKA NWAGWUNA

EDO ELECTION: THE IGBO FACTOR By EMEKA NWAGWUNA As campaigns leading up to the September 28th Edo gubernatorial election reaches feverish pitch, so many factors will definitely determine the outcome. Prominent among them is the number of registered Igbo voters in Edo state. INEC’s record reveals that the number of registered Igbo voters constitute about 48% of total registered voters in Edo. The implications of this figure are copious and have the capacity of determining who emerges winner in the September elections. Igbos in Edo must be united in a concerted effort with other Edo progressives to take advantage of this demography so that the candidate that will best serve their interest emerges victorious. For instance, it is true that Igbos are kings of trade and commerce in Nigeria. Therefore any government whether state or federal that neglects this existential fact by not making plans for trade and commerce to thrive is directly marginalizing Ndigbo. This is the exact sta...

SALLAH: ONAIWU SUES FOR PEACE AND SACRIFICE. By The SOLUTION TEAM

The candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in the 2016 Governorship Election in Edo State, Earl Osaro Onaiwu has called on Muslims in the State to pray for the emancipation of Edo State from the scourge of bad leadership that has affected its progress since 1999. The governorship candidate made the call in a Sallah message signed by one of his media aides, Mr. Christopher Okagbare to mark this year's Eid-El-Kabir celebraions across the state. He said Edo State has been plagued with the menace of self serving leaders which has plunged the state into a critical economic situation. He called on the Muslim communities in Edo State to come together and play an active role in rescuing and building a better Edo State where development will thrive. Mr. Onaiwu commended Muslims in the state for living in harmony with their Christian brothers and sisters. He asked the Muslim Umrah in Edo State to consolidate on the prevailing peace they have maintained in the state over...

APGA Gubernatorial Candidate and His Campaign Team Attacked by The APC Thugs in Edo State.

How much enlightenment has the APC leadership in Edo State bequeathed to her membership especially on the nuisance fronts and cubicles? This is a question that has occupied the minds of the most reasonable supporters of APGA and her very noble and peaceful Governorship candidate in Edo State. This mental inquisition has preoccupied all good thinking humans as moments ago, APGA governorship campaign trail was senselessly attacked by suspected thugs loyal to the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Etsako West LGA. After addressing the good people of the LGA, the respectable supporters and party faithfuls, some unidentified young men wielding dangerous weapons ambushed our team. I must commend the gallantry of one of the mobile policemen attached to us who resisted efforts made by the thugs to disarm him of his weapon. Unfortunately, he was beaten to pulp as well as some members of our team. We were compelled to scamper to safety, where we sought refuge under a military check point st...

IZU-OMAM: An Angel of Light By KEMKA S. IBEJI

Image
I know no nights anymore My heart lit the paths intensely Even along the darkest nights The glow is never imagined The wonder rouses my thoughts Whence is this mystery? It is from my heart the lights come This has never always been From the day you tore the iron bars Trudged across the guarded gate Made yourself an abode therein Since your presence here in my heart I know no nights anymore.

EDO HISTORY BECKONS. By Dr. Victor Ike Oye

EDO: HISTORY BECKONS The journey to occupying the Government House, Benin City begins in earnest on Saturday, July 30 when our governorship campaign is launched. All APGANS from all walks of life  are hereby most respectfully invited to turn out en mass to support our indefatigable candidate, Osaro Onaiwu, in our quest to win Edo to replicate the transformational paradigm in Anambra State. The choice of Osaro as our governorship candidate has changed the equation of politics in Edo State, placing APGA in a vintage position to win the September 10 election. We call on all our teeming supporters from all over the world to join us in our consistent effort to redirect the consciousness of our following as a way of galvanising support to make us actualize our set goals. Don't mind the initial hiccups facing us, we are focused and determined to contihue to deliver the goods. Nothing good comes easy. We need to therefore work as a team to grow APGA as the only viable alternative to the...
