EDO HISTORY BECKONS. By Dr. Victor Ike Oye
EDO: HISTORY BECKONS
The journey to occupying the Government House, Benin City begins in earnest on Saturday, July 30 when our governorship campaign is launched. All APGANS from all walks of life are hereby most respectfully invited to turn out en mass to support our indefatigable candidate, Osaro Onaiwu, in our quest to win Edo to replicate the transformational paradigm in Anambra State.
The choice of Osaro as our governorship candidate has changed the equation of politics in Edo State, placing APGA in a vintage position to win the September 10 election. We call on all our teeming supporters from all over the world to join us in our consistent effort to redirect the consciousness of our following as a way of galvanising support to make us actualize our set goals. Don't mind the initial hiccups facing us, we are focused and determined to contihue to deliver the goods. Nothing good comes easy. We need to therefore work as a team to grow APGA as the only viable alternative to the Shenanigans of the so-called ruling parties. It has never been in doubt that while PDP is haemorrhaging, APC is aspyxiating. APGA is the party with a clean bill if health. Taking on one another instead of suggesting functions solutions to our problems is a defeatist and diversionary approach. We need to speak with one voice, respect one another, make personal sacrifices for the growth of the party and show demonstrable competences where necessary for the good of our great party. There is no time better than now to do so. We are confident that APGA will continue to build on the achievements recorded so far, reconcile all genuinely aggrieved persons and build new structures that will take the party to the apogee of development.
We wish to express deep gratitude to all our members for their sacrifices, steadfastness and support for our great party. Our efforts will never be vain. Once again, you are all invited to Benin City on July 30 for the SOLUTION to the seemingly intractable problems of Edo State. God bless us all.
