THE SUPER EAGLES POINT TO THE PEACE OF NIGERIA...

Nigeria has not known this peace in over 30 months now. The Super Eagles of Nigeria have healed the sick, raised the dying, and given hope for Nigeria.

One particular lesson the government of Nigeria should take home and to heart by the winning of the Super Eagles of Nigeria against the tamed Indomitable Lions of Cameron yesterday is that success begets peace and that Nigerians hate failure.

The bonding agents of Nigeria keeps getting weaker and loosened by the day for reasons which the Super Eagles have laid bare today.

Imagine if our power/electricity doesn't go off for 365 Days.

Imagine if all the major and serving roads across Nigeria are smooth and safe like the ones in Abuja and many others in the Northern part of Nigeria.

Imagine if our schools from primary to tertiary are active, qualitative, affordable and classed with their co in other parts of the world that Nigerian children don't need to travel beyond our shores to get quality education.

Imagine if, like before, it is the brilliant students that will rather gain admission in Nigerian universities and the rich might manage to buy their children admissions in some foreign universities which are not better than Nigerian universities after all.

Imagine that before graduation, students who merely want to be subsistent or have a moderate living standard have such jobs waiting for them and those who want to be entrepreneurs have enhancement packages, financial infrastructure, and business security platforms to ride on.

Imagine that after meritorious lifetime in service to Nigeria you're sure that your pension will be paid promptly to assist your ageing bones and not squandered by the government and their cronies.

Imagine a Nigeria where all Best Graduating Students are given the first opportunity as lecturers and teachers before the list from Mr. President, Mr. Governor, Senator, Honourable Member, Minister etc.

Imagine a Nigeria where her best students are giving grants and incentives to pursue research and enhancement of skills and sorts.

Imagine Nigeria where the laws don't protect the criminals against the upright, the rich against the poor, the public servants against the citizens, wrong against the right.

Imagine that you can live, work, pursue your dreams and ambition anywhere in Nigeria and be protected by the law of the nation and not treated based on your ethnic background.

Imagine a Nigeria of equal opportunities, equal rights and justice.

Imagine that in an election, the electorate can vote and not nurse any doubt that their decision is key and conclusive.

Imagine a Nigeria where you will go to the Courts and be sure of justice.

Imagine that in Nigeria lives are valued and health considered an urgency and emergency.

Imagine that in Nigeria the poor and the rich can have quality medical care entrenched in the system where all departments of the health system are optimally functional such that even the President does not need to be ferried out of the country in order to get good medical care.

Imagine that Nigeria refines her God given Crude Oil, exports finished goods, not import refined Oil and Gas products and thereby reduce the burden on our Balance of Trade which muzzles our exchange rate to stupor.

Imagine that in Nigeria our Crude Oil has refineries to refine at least 80% of it to sell to the waiting market in Africa alone. Imagine the employment wasted and the many future of our youth and graduates destroyed in the insensitive throwaways.

Imagine that Nigeria has philosophers who will fashion her laws and constitution in tandem with living experiences, cultural realities, and evident circumstances unique to Nigeria and Africa and not impose unworkable and strange norms on the nation.

Imagine that you and yours can walk the streets and roads at day and nights without fears and the abundant insecurity.

Imagine working on Nigerian roads for 180 days without seeing a soldier.

Imagine that in Nigeria the police holds only whistles and no guns, the Customs and all other security outfits work months and years without guns except in special circumstances where some special police squad is called on emergency.

Imagine that in Nigeria the education, safety, feeding and welfare of you and your children are in no doubt and are a certainty as long as you are willing to work and not lazying away your life.

Imagine all the foregoing;

Will you care where or the ethnic group either the President, Governor or any other leader comes from?

Will it be reasonable for Nnamdi Kanu or any other person in Nigeria to be talking about secession?

Or will it even bother anyone if any such craving comes up?

Would it have been any difficult for the President and the National Assembly to grant a referendum which Britain has conducted 2 and going for the 3rd in less than 4 years yet telling Nigeria not to allow?

Will Nigeria have listened to any lazy and idle Britain to tell her what will happen or not happen?

Will it not have been joy and happiness everywhere and everyday as it is today that the Super Eagles have given us reason to be happy?

Is anybody saying that John Obi Mikel and the many number in the team today are either Igbos, Hausa's or Yorubas?

Only if our political leaders are reasonable and thinking properly.

If only they are even humans who reason with the good.

I wish those who either lead or aspire to lead can envision and draw from the lessons of the Super Eagles of Nigeria today and from this winning.

Nigeria would have withstood the storm which is about sweeping it adrift.

Can you now appreciate the problem of Nigeria? The facts are handy...
