FOUR ILLOGICAL ARGUMENTS OF NNANNA RAPHAEL IGBOKWE FOR HIS 3RD TERM BID. Written by KEMKA S. IBEJI (King Solomon).
The four illogical arguments of Nnanna Raphael Igbokwe and his campaign crew;
1. There's no such agreement for power sharing or zoning between Ahiazu and Ezinihitte anywhere.
2. There was no time that Nnanna Igbokwe did not contest against an Ezinihitte opponent (Mr. Kenneth Agbakwuru always handy for mention).
3. Ezinihitte people broke the agreement.
4. His 3rd tenure will make us have a Speaker or Deputy Speaker of the House.
The above loosely woven words compartmentalized into four headings have become the common denominators and crux of all the campaigns for Nnanna Raphael Igbokwe's atrociouslying inordinate, selfish and greed-laden 3rd term bid and I want to unequivocally assert that they are merely diversionary, watery, flimsy and illogical. One therefore may wish to know how unreasonable the arguments are. Let's get at it together.
From the very first point above, the cotravellers of Nnanna Igbokwe have severally requested that anyone who knows about such amma amity should provide the public such agreement document if it was ever entered. This question by his (Nnanna Igbokwe) image marketers portrays Nnanna Igbokwe in bad light. It presents him as insincere and callous if he could not tell his team the truth about the agreement which himself was the sole beneficiary.
In 2015, I KEMKA S. IBEJI wanted to vie for the Federal House of Representatives in Ahiazu/Ezinihitte Mbaise Federal Constituency. During my consultations within my LGA in Ezinihitte, I was bluntly told by all political leaders across political parties that it was the turn of Ahiazu to complete their two tenures. Getting this same response from a vast array of our elders, I very respectfully dropped my ambition to wait for 2019 when our brothers from Ahiazu would have had their fair share and turn as agreed. I also remembered prevailing on Barr. Leon Mbakwe from Onicha who contested the primaries in Labour Party against Mr. Agbakwuru to drop his aspiration due to my conviction that it was the turn of Ahiazu to complete their 2nd term. Simply put, Ezinihitte people disowned everybody from Ezinihitte vying for Federal House in both 2011 and 2015 and Nnanna Igbokwe himself knows this truth. As a matter of fact, almost all political leaders I have recently met with in Ahiazu keep telling me that he (Nnanna Raphael Igbokwe) has always won his elections on the support of Ndi Ezinihitte. The political elders of our Federal Constituency know the truth and they are saying it. Upon the request of Nnanna Igbokwe's team of campaigners, the media has been awash with copies and letters of that armistice for power sharing. It is either that his team are uninformed or they are morally decadent in trying to subvert the truth. In doing this, they are killing their inner being and by that same engagement they are destroying the fabric of their humanity.
On their second and third points which are based on deceit and acts of treachery, it is both less true and intensely false that there was no time Nnanna Igbokwe was not opposed by an Ezinihitte candidate. When a liar is reading out a script, it is usually shabbily constructed that it renders itself an open secret to the wise. Unfortunately for Nnanna Igbokwe, Mbaise people are wise people and will not fall for his cheap slips.
When in politics we talk about opponents, especially in Mbaise land, we always refer to major political parties. In 2011 when Nnanna Igbokwe had his first election into the Federal House, we had the major political parties in Ahiazu/Ezinihitte Mbaise Federal Constituency as the PDP, APGA and ANPP. Trailing closely behind these major political parties were the ACN and PPA. Every other candidate from any other political party as at that time was as good as an Independent Candidate which of course was not existent. Mr. Agbakwuru who has remained their reference point even failed in his Ward to Nnanna Igbokwe polling a shameful Six votes. The result showed a wonderment of abandonment meted on Mr. Kenneth Agbakwuru by the people of Ezinihitte. It was remarkable to the extent that Mr. Kenneth Nduka Agbakwuru even lost in his polling unit not even to talk of his Ward; I am uncertain if he did not lose in his family. Is there any other form of rejection worse than that? Even for vying against Nnanna Igbokwe, Ezinihitte people blacklisted Mr. Agbakwuru with a sanction that he can never win any other political position in Ezinihitte for disobeying the agreement. Let's recall that all the major political parties in the Federal Constituency fielded Ahiazu candidates. While the PDP fielded Nnanna Raphael Igbokwe, the APNP had Barr. Steve Nwoga as their candidate and APGA presented Mr. Chidi Henry Ibe as their candidate. While ACN candidate was Dr. James Okoroma, Mr. Christopher Ewulonu was PPA's candidate. Let's go through the election results once again to let us appreciate the favour enjoyed from this agreement by Nnanna Igbokwe himself;

APGA Chidi Henry Ibe 11,927 votes
ANPP Barr. Steve Nwoga 3,767 Votes
ACN Dr. James Okoroma 8,343 Votes
PPA Christopher Ewulonu 4,983 Votes
LP Kenneth Agbakwuru 6 votes
The above is how Ndi Ezinihitte violated the agreement by presenting and opponent against Nnanna Igbokwe in the person of Mr. Kenneth Nduka Agbakwuru. Perhaps in addition to his insult to Ndi Ezinihitte that "there is no man in Ezinihitte", Nnanna Igbokwe might still be further derogating Ezinihitte people by saying that they number only Six. Nnanna Raphael Igbokwe's 3rd term bid in contravention of the noble agreement is the height of ingratitude to say the least.
In 2015 as well, the major political parties were the PDP, APC and APGA. The PDP also had Nnanna Raphael Igbokwe as their candidate, the APC's candidate was the popular Adaku Ihuoma and Barr. Steve Nwoga was the candidate of APGA. PPA had Mr. Dennis Chikere as their candidate as Mr. Nwoko Louis Clement represented LP at the poll. Here again Nnanna Raphael Igbokwe coasted home victorious with the support of Ndi Ezinihitte which was informed by the written agreement.
Today, Nnanna Raphael Igbokwe has found it worthy to teach the youth of Ahiazu/Ezinihitte Mbaise Federal Constituency how to disobey gentleman agreement. I think for this reason alone, he can sincerely be said to be dishonourable. I do not know what else one should have as a trait before he or she can be tagged an ingrate.
On the issue of getting a Speaker or Deputy Speaker for Ahiazu/Ezinihitte Mbaise Federal Constituency if given a 3rd tenure, I will attach to my submission here list of both SENATE PRESIDENTS and SPEAKERS OF THE FEDERAL HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES from its inception to let the researchers amongst our electorate especially the youths judge if longevity in the National Assembly is the prerequisite for becoming either a Speaker or bringing home development emanating from effective legislation for your people.
Just like the cliche which affirms that the age of Methuselah has absolutely nothing to do with the wisdom of King Solomon, Nnanna Raphael Igbokwe's longevity in the Federal House of Representatives nay his 3rd term (had nothing), has nothing and will have nothing to do with developmental income from legislation in the Federal House for Ahiazu/Ezinihitte Mbaise Federal Constituency and her people in 2019
A brief visit to the performance of Hon. Chike Okafor and the import of his sincere, faithful and purposeful representation of his constituency and the singular respect for his people will make the supporters of Nnanna Igbokwe cover their faces in shame. Did it take Hon. Chike Okafor and 2nd term for him to deliver class rural electrification to his people? Did it take him a 2nd term which we have given Nnanna Igbokwe for him to give them dividends of democracy in education, health, empowerment and infrastructural enhancements?
Let me also remind us that the longest serving legislators in Nigeria have real bad record and for some of them who are effective and efficient, such prowess are not derivatives of longevity in the National Assembly. If it is knowing the processes and procedures of the National Assembly, we have a lot of us in Ezinihitte who have never come 2nd in all their academic years and classes. I am one of such people and I will emerge the best if given the mandate by the great people of Ahiazu/Ezinihitte Mbaise Federal Constituency in 2019.
In 2019 therefore, Ahiazu/Ezinihitte Mbaise Federal Constituency need a thinker, an intelligent citizen and one with very highly cognitive abilities to represent them. Above all, Ahiazu/Ezinihitte Mbaise Federal Constituency in 2019 require someone with high moral rectitude, who will not defile good conscience and desecrate the sanctity of gentleman and brotherly accord, someone who will be accessible and reachable, one who understands the plight of the people, one who will really and truthfully represent them and not someone who will represent himself against the wishes and beliefs of the people.
In this main, I submit that the arguments marshalled by Nnanna Raphael Igbokwe and his campaign crew are both ignorant, deceitful, treacherous, misleading, inimical and capable of discordant coexistence amongst the hitherto peaceful cohabitation of the good people of Ahiazu/Ezinihitte Mbaise Federal Constituency. Conclusively, let us with one voice reject this unwholesome and ungodly ambition of Nnanna Igbokwe as the people of Ezinihitte rejected Mr. Kenneth Agbakwuru in 2011.
