IZU-OMAM: An Angel of Light By KEMKA S. IBEJI

I know no nights anymore
My heart lit the paths intensely
Even along the darkest nights
The glow is never imagined
The wonder rouses my thoughts
Whence is this mystery?

It is from my heart the lights come
This has never always been
From the day you tore the iron bars
Trudged across the guarded gate
Made yourself an abode therein
Since your presence here in my heart
I know no nights anymore.
