PRESS ADDRESS BY KEMKA S. IBEJI IN ABUJA TODAY (5TH JUNE, 2020) AS THE FEDERAL HIGH COURT GIVES JUDGEMENT ON HIS CASE AGAINST THE ALL PROGRESSIVES GRAND ALLIANCE (APGA). By Kivorg Editorial

Our matter was today, the 5th of June, 2020 dismissed at the Court 5 of the Federal High Court in Abuja on the grounds that it was a pre-election Matter and that 180 days has caught up with us. According to the Federal High Court, the case has become time barred and the court has lost jurisdiction over the matter. For us, this expected as it is the usual game of Nigerian political parties.

This is nevertheless seen by our team as a miscarriage of justice orchestrated by laziness by the court who failed to critically look into the matter on its merit. Our team is however hopeful and believe in the judiciary of our country. We are resolute as ever to ensure that justice is done, not only for our leader and Thinker - KEMKA S. IBEJI, but for the entire country especially the youth who will want to go into leadership.

The old and retiring generation of politicians have seen party politics as a gap to frustrate political, social and economic development in Nigeria. This is well known and clearly understood by KEMKA S. IBEJI as he has vowed to ensure sanity in our political history and systems.

Political party licenses have turned crime aid and machines to defraud intending leaders. APGA's case is one remarkable one and it is not exclusive with APGA. Where a candidate is predestined and premeditated is unlawful, unacceptable and, unfounded and unfortunate. Our poise in leadership is to ensure the good and bring same to our people. We shall not keep quiet in the face of crime, injustice, extortion and humiliation of our people. It is for this reason that our legal team shall go back to the draft board and come back to the court for justice. We send this message to APGA that they should meet us at the Appeal Court. Time shall not deter us or weigh us down. Though the saying that justice delayed is justice denied, and it is upon this dying and archaic cliché that APGA thrives, we believe that truth is undying and everlasting.

To this end, we urge all our team members (Kivorg in particular), our supporters and lovers of justice across the nation to keep faith - we shall return home with victory. Only a criminal rejoices at his or her escape from justice. APGA is the criminal here today and their joy will be cut short.

And for your take home, our case is not a pre-election matter but a case of breach of contract and fundamental rights violation. We do not pray for either their nomination or selection as their candidate. The onus therefore returns to us to put the court in the right light of understanding that all we need is justice from a team of crime heads who have perfected the art of cheating, fraud, extortion, shortchanging, rape and violation of electoral rights. It is at this juncture that I exclaim tonic into your hearts and mind that our struggles will continue till victory is ascertained. We shall now proceed to the Appeal Court and we must keep moving on the rungs of the judicial rising gradation till our fists are gripping at justice.
