OUR GIFT TO OUR PEOPLE: EDUCATION OF THE ELECTORATE.

Dear Team Mates in the project to make Ahiazu/Ezinihitte Mbaise Federal Constituency a better place in 2019 and fellow compatriots, as the time draws nigh, the fears of the wickedness of ignorance heighten.

I call to memory certain issues as vote buying or vote sales and purchase, political thuggery, voters apathy and essentially unknown candidates. By unknown candidates, I mean the common experience where people come out on election day and they don't have anybody in mind to vote for. This concept of unknown candidates engenders and fertilizes vote buying. Of course, it is cheaper to buy someone who has nobody in mind to vote for on the election day.

In addition to the foregoing outlined wickedness of ignorance with regard to elections, the worst is the reigning concept of "DESPERATE PHILANTHROPISM" which some have severally tagged "Emergency Philanthropy" of emergency philanthropists. I will not want to dwell on this so as not to lose sight of the crux of this piece.

Why the wickedness of ignorance and the need of our gift to the people?

First of all, let me lead you to the understanding of what I mean by our gift to the people. This simply means letting our people know the truth and the reality. Telling our people the truth through educating them and laying bare all manner of bad and wrong gimmicks of the ill intended leadership aspirants.

This is important because it will enable our people make the right and informed choice in the 2019 election.

To this reality, we must go out to all friends and family, all neighbours, every citizen and all the members of the voting public - the electorate.

Our message to them must be the ambitions of our team. The genuineness of our draft and the philosophy of our engagement.

How will life get better for our people in Ahiazu/Ezinihitte Mbaise Federal Constituency? What are the procedures and processes of achieving that? What are their inputs and ideas on the best modalities and possible means?

In doing this we would have cleared the air on many fronts. Firstly, they would have had the benefit of many knowledge. Secondly, they would have the clarity for decision on the ballot. Thirdly, they will be the guards for the election and no more thugs. And finally, they will never be swayed by deceit and mischievous candidates that abound.

Why will someone engage thugs if not that he or she is aware of certain rejection or unpopularity?

Why will someone 'desperately philanthropize' if not to deceive and wear a look that is not you?

Why will our people buy the chains of fake, unworthy and 'Greek gifters' who have come to blindfold them with gifts of stones masked by juices?

Our gift to our people immediately becomes imperative and timely now. Our people must be shielded from the onslaught of the wicked whose wish is to prey on the ignorance of the innocent people. Education is our key. Education is our weapon. Education is our gift because it liberates, it enlightens, it elevates, it brings up dreams and visions, and it brings development.

Let us therefore educate our people on the realities so they can choose for themselves and by themselves.

As 2019 draws closer, we should be letting our people know how best to get the best results from agriculture. How to make agriculture more attractive to the youth. How to make millionaires from agriculture and how to make our agricultural engagements leap from the archaic and unattractive subsistence farming to fully commercialized enterprise. We are knowledgeably ready to unravel the concealed wealth in the palm trees and red oil. Let them know that the team that projects KEMKA SOLOMON IBEJI has a plan and package to entrench entrepreneurship in agriculture and creating Agripreneurs in Ahiazu/Ezinihitte Mbaise Federal Constituency from 2019 and thenceforward.

Let the people know that our school blocks are in the most deplorable states across board. That there are no qualified teachers to guide our children to the future they dream and aspire for. Tell our people the need to rebuild our schools and gainfully employ standard and quality teachers. Let them understand this need in terms of potency and act upon our dear communities with special reference to posterity.

Take our manifesto to the sick and tired, the wretched amongst us who has no hope of sound health care. Tell them the impact of selling their votes on their health and that of their children. Let them also know that KEMKA SOLOMON IBEJI has the Mutual Health Assurance (MHA) ready for them if they vote him into office as their Federal House of Representatives member in 2019.

Go to the youths, school leavers and young graduates and let them know there is hope. Educate them on our programs on technology which will take them on the pathways of Techpreneurship and make them Techpreneurs.

Have they known about the general skills acquisition programs and packages which will sprout potential job creators and diminish the crowd of job seekers in our midst?

The time has come and we shall move out to educate, win and conquer the wolves who have gathered to devour our people.

Our weapons in this outing are knowledge, wisdom, truthfulness, faithfulness, sincerity, openheartedness, involvement and participatory resolution to be upright.

Remember that what qualifies a leader is not advertisement of charity. In fact, this is bad moral!

Remember that what makes a good leader is not the act of giving because leadership is not a platform for philanthropy.

Remember that what makes a great leader is not how much in his or her bank account because nobody is taking money to the National Assembly but the tact and traits to be knowledgeably persuasive, uprightly fascinating, justly charming and sincere to the people.

One who can say the truth even if it is against his intimate own. One who will give everyone his or her due and respect the wishes of the people.

That is a leader!

Our fight is against vote buying, against voter apathy, against political thuggery, against voter illiteracy and ignorance of the right choice. Remember our only tools are truth, fairness, justice, knowledge, understanding and great discerning mind.

Our fearless and mighty weapon is love and humanness which is embedded in our humble gift. And our noble Gift to the great people of Ahiazu/Ezinihitte Mbaise Federal Constituency is education and enlightenment of the electorate.

As I engage in this with a heart filled with passion for the good, I call on all to join me and our team to make sure that thes good tidings do not elude Ahiazu/Ezinihitte Federal Constituency in 2019.
