Wonders, grief, shock, cries 

Fears, carefreeness, dangers

Hate, dislikes, bitterness, strife 

Envy, distrust, lies, inordinate wants

Injustice, betrayal, theft, murder 

Our world is in disarray 


No one wants to do it right 

Everybody thinks negatively 

Our values are on holidays 

Or they're dead, burnt and buried 


Parents' upbringing is questionable 

Children's characters are damaged 

The good's bad and the bad's good 

The good's evil and the evil's good 

We've lost count of the good 

We may never know it if we see it

The good is far gone from here 


No one holds them fast anymore 

Truth, honesty, fairness, respect 

Honour, faithfulness, trust

Sacrifice, discipline, courage 

Sincerity, justice, perseverance 

Love, integrity, values 


Here's a lament for the good 

It's dead today in our land 

The world should be mourning 

The death of values is a danger

Danger to all beings and humanity 

How do we mourn forever?

The pain is unbelievably unbearable 


Hello panacea!

How do we inject soma in values?

That it gains life

And partake in immortality

To come alive and live forever

It's clearly Nigeria against the Igbo man and woman without any exception. Recently, a certain situation took place in Uromi in Edo State of Nigeria. Edo State people killed some people allegedly from the North numbering about 16. The videos asserting the reality of the incident is everywhere on the internet and the certitude of that incident has not been denied so far. The idea or information is that the Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo is requesting the licencing of Native Doctors in the state. I assume that this is essentially an approach to the fight against violent crimes and insecurity in the state. This ordinarily should be a commendable action by the government except that a bad route may disfigure a destination. Though in recent times, societal experiences have taught me and many others the truism of a local colloquial adage in our younger age which states that "passing six is not passing sense". Again, such experiences have also made me to understand that leadership has nothing to do with academic degrees though the basic education is necessary for modern political leadership.
