I HAVE ALWAYS KNOWN SHE WILL NEVER DIE Written by KEMKA S. IBEJI

By the metaphysics of the anthropological constitution of the human person, the realm of dualism is rife. Or do I say that I'm more attuned to the dualistic explanation of mankind.

By that dualism, human beings are made up of the mind and the body. In an expansive grasp, the mind connotes the soul, the incorporeal, the spiritual and the psychological. On the other hand, the body involves all aspects of the human person that are physical and empirical.

By the foregoing, human existence is birthed at the moment of supranational union between the mind and the body. This explanation of life defines death or the ceasure of life automatically. So death means the separation of the mind from the body. In this separation, two things happen; some minds decay while others subsist. Those whose minds decay are the real dead people. But some minds or souls separate and continue in existence and this defines the idea of the immortality of the soul.This death is not death and is the preserve of only the species of humans who have subjected and sacrificed their wholeness to the purgation of transgressions and shifted their minds from the world's ubiquity of iniquity.

This is the purview where Mother Charity Chinedu Ibeji inherited by God's grace. A woman set apart for the glory of the Most High God. An apple of God's eyes. An epitome of sacred sanction and utmost condemnation to service.

Indeed, when this heaven and earth shall pass away, Lord God Almighty, do not let the name of your previous daughter be wanting. This is so that her works and your grace shall not be in vain. This is her prayer sung to God all the days of her life. Heed her plea oh God!

My mother shares in the immortality of the soul by God's grace and so is eschewed from the impurities of death. She's not dead; she's transited. I know this without any mistake and I can tell you that with every certainty.

And the questions will ring loud and bold from above and beyond saying;

Who are these like stars appearing,
These before God's Throne who stand,
Each a golden crown is wearing,
Who are all this glorious band?
Hallelujah! Hark they sing,
Praising loud their heavenly King.

And the answers shall be chorused this;

These are they who watch'd and waited,
Offering up to Christ their will,
Soul and body consecrated,
Day and night to serve Him still,
Now in God's most Holy place,
Blest they stand before His face.

Amen!

How much love we have for you has been bought bountifully and pricelessly by God Almighty with His mercies, grace, sanctification and salvation.
