NIGHT Written by KEMKA S. IBEJI

It seems impossible at noon
While the sun blazes rays
We disbelieve it like it's unreal
We think it cos we knew it
But it actually seems like nothing

It definitely will take its turn
It feels most patient and calm
And before you know, it's here

It frightens the stranger
It rests the toiled hands
It renews the hope for another
It takes sight from the eyes
It doesn't matter if you're awake

Hello Mr. Night
How do you feel?
How do you sleep?
How do you smile?
My wonderings of you
I don't know when it ends.
