ON Rev. Fr. Mbaka's Prophecy and Imo State Government of Hope: The Demarcation of Spiritual Gifts. By KEMKA S. IBEJI

Let me state that there is no point for the quarrels from the prophecy except for a little lack of understanding of the language of prophecy.
Our dearly beloved Fr. Ejike Mbaka is both right and wrong at the same time but we can excuse him only if we know how prophecy works or comes. As a child born in a spiritual home that are in a spiritual church, I grew up knowing prophets, prophecy, the language of prophecies, the character of prophecy and the mistakes of prophets as well.
The Bible said that some are giving the spirit of effective prayers, some dreams, some vision, some prophecy, some evangelism, some are imbued with the spirit of speaking in tongues etc. Most importantly, some are also given the spirit of interpretation. This can be made clearer if you remember the story of Joseph in the Bible. Joseph had the gift of interpretation of dreams and prophecies. It put him into problems with his siblings but elevated him in the house of Portifer (sic).
Just like the aberration taking place in all spheres of human life, the church and prophecy are not left out. Concerning speaking in tongues, the Bible emphatically stated that wherever there is the spirit of speaking in tongues, there most be the spirit of interpretation. It further asserted that the spirit of speaking in tongues without the spirit of interpretation is useless. However, hardly do we have same in one person. Of course, when you are in spirit, to cannot take notice of a lot that happen and so when the spirit leaves you, you go empty and cannot remember all you had said during your possession.
It is on the foregoing that I wish to clear the air and help the understanding of all. Our dear Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka might be a sound prophet of God. He also might have got the right revelation from God. However, he may not have been imbued with the spirit of interpretation.
He saw that there is HOPE coming to Imo State. This might be the right prophecy but to say that it is now HOPE UZODINMA becoming the Governor of Imo State might be a wrong interpretation of the prophecy.
Who has doubted so far that HOPE has come to Imo State with the emergence of HE Gov. Emeka Ihedioha as the Chief Executive of the State? Why will you want to fight and crucify a man of God who saw your convictions and answered prayers but misinterpreted the prophecy if not for a gap in certain understanding?
Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka was right in his prophecy that he saw HOPE coming to Imo State with the judgement of the Supreme Court but was wrong in his interpretation which attached the HOPE to a name of a person. He did not see Hope Uzodinma but HOPE for ndị Imo.
I therefore call on all warring parties to down their weapons and embrace peace by thanking God for His revelation to His people. God said "He has a thought for us, thought of good and not of evil, to give us an expected end". God loves ndị Imo and has brought HOPE for them through the leadership of Gov. Emeka Ihedioha.
I am not trying to praise or blame anyone in this but to help our people to bring peace by lending my little knowledge. I am not a party member of Emeka Ihedioha and I am even closer at the moment with the party of Sen. Hope Uzodinma but I am a product of spiritual background and the spirits do not look at faces when speaking. They only say that eak the truth as revealed to them and this is exactly my point in this writing.
Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka has the gift of prophecy but may have fallen short of the gift of interpretation.
Indeed, HOPE comes to Imo State and I wish Ndị Imo the best of the day.
I am,
KEMKA S. IBEJI
