A Taste of Two Sides; Dr. Reuben Abati...
Thanks to the study of philosophy.
The doctrine of opposites remains a veritable theory in the labyrinthine of metaphysics in particular and ontology in general. However, the broader metaphysics which is ontology has encompassed even axiology.
This makes metaphysics or ontology a paramount crux in the understanding of socio-political sphere. Alas those who jump in and out of our own political corridors here and maybe somewhere else are so oblivious of this commonplace truth.
Remember that every opposite defines the opposite. And can I say that if you have never known the good, you will always miss the bad. In other words, the knowledge of the day gives you the clearest understanding of the night.
However, when we mention the Doctrine of Opposites, we inevitably will run on the attitude of bringing down philosophy from the Ivory Towers into the marketplaces. How do I mean?
This is a philosophical stream by which high flown or top intellectual matters are simplified to the clear understanding of the most difficult layman. By this methodology, philosophy is brought down to commonsense where every man or woman enjoys that solemn charity of being a philosopher.
For this reason I have said that philosophy always needs to touchdown on its foundation which is commonsense.

Wonders overtook human experience as we wake into the realities of the sincerities of the good and the ubiquity of evil. We perceive charity and wickedness. Once there is life and again there comes death. There is love and there is hate. Sure, we hear of heaven and there is hell. We see day and night, light and darkness, tall and short, hot and cold, mind and body, rich and poor, vision and blindness, lack or want and plenty, up and down, right and wrong, moral and immoral, acceptable and unacceptable, mortal and immortal, even man and woman. This list is inexhaustible and permeates our entire life.
This doctrine has been put into work in different areas of human life and has also been very useful in social, political and economic engineering. But here we wish to emphasize life in the light of opportunities and the use of such with special reference to humanity.
May I humbly tap your memory along a slight journey behind time. You will recall the name Reuben Abati. That was a sound and name that symbolized government position on matters of national considerations. Few months have come and gone.
Sometime ago, Reuben Abati will mount the platforms for the government. His words were in protection and in fact very costly to hear. This made him a voice to desire when you want to know where the government stood on any issue. That was Reuben Abati...
Today I wake up every morning with all media alerts carrying the criticisms of the same man I told you of; Reuben Abati. He now stands on the opposite side of that world.
I have now grown to know and understand this respectable man Reuben Abati as s very predictable human being. Without waking up from my lowly sleep, I can tell you what he will write and say next year. In case you can't find or reach Dr. Reuben Abati for any matter on his noble opinion, kindly ask me; he is boldly predictable especially by me. When I prove this then it will no longer be what you are now thinking.
Do not lose sight of our lesson from this; you can be anywhere tomorrow and so please live your life for good.
Whether Dr. Reuben Abati did well in government or not is not the goal of our consideration within this purview. He now has that salient and silent judgement to make and I can say that it belongs to his subjective world.
Our public servants, politicians, leaders, Mr. President, Governors, Ministers, Legislators, Judges and the judiciary, the Police, Customs, Road Safety Officers, the a Army, Navy and Air force, our religious leaders, Professors, teachers and the academic and nonacademic staff of our schools, the Private Business man and woman, there will be a time to be on the other side. How will you want it on the other side of the world you control or lead?
This particular Doctrine of Opposites will remind us of the Golden Mean or Rule. It is therefore instructive to wake our minds to the idea of the universalizability of actions. And to this, the axiological maxim of the German philosopher Immanuel Kant reverberates; "Do that which according to your will shall become a universal law".
Many people have problems knowing what is good and what is bad. This had become so since we have come to find or locate ourselves in a world where wrongs and wrongdoing is venerated. This has obliterated this clear lines between good and bad, right and wrong, positive and negative, acceptable and unacceptable. And now may I most humbly present to you a vital scale to always measure your action to know either its propriety or impropriety.
Always put or place yourself on or at the receiving end of your actions. If you receive them well and happily then do it but if otherwise please kindly refrain.
Human nature can be good.

I receive this intellectual opinion as immutable and universal, no matter the side or divide we may tread in life. Justice and Good is insitu and universal, a common place access that is not within the reach of fools.
