KEMKA IBEJI VICTORY ORGANIZATION (KIVORG): OUR PHILOSOPHY AND OUR RESOLVE Editorial

It was a tough one for us as we crisscrossed the nooks and crannies of Ahiazu/Ezinihitte Mbaise Federal Constituency spreading our wish and whims for our people. We outlined our manifesto and led our people through the letters. It was all for their good and that of generations unborn. We tendered our cards for the people to make their choice. We have also remained grateful to them for whatever the outcome was as we are aware that many felt bad at the outcome while many applauded it. All things work together for good.

It may have started way back sometime in 2016. We continued gathering our team and shaping up our philosophy. We pursued that dream till February, 2019. Yes, others in the Governorship and State House of Assembly went ahead till March, 2019.

Good or bad, our people made their decision. It may have not ended the way of our mind but as a group who came on a mission which was for the good of the people, we couldn't cry more than the bereaved. Our ambition was for the people and if the people preferred something else, they should have their way. Power belongs to the people and through the transcendental focus.

We do not want to argue like bad losers. We also never went to either the tribunal or the court against the result of the election. The people made their choice and we must obey them.

But as people who believe in the powers beyond men and women, we hold the biblical code which avers that every leadership is ordained by God. In that regard, Hon. Emeka Chinedu was favoured to represent our good people of Ahiazu/Ezinihitte Mbaise Federal Constituency in the 9th Assembly. This is his time.

This same scenario played out in the Presidency and Governorship and those for State House of Assembly. Our dear brother and elder brother to our leader (HE Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha) was, by predestination, declared as the winner of the gubernatorial contest. By my reading of elementary government, I went through the results and informed our people that it was a runoff election. But his God made it for him and he was declared that night as the Governor of Imo State and subsequently sworn into office but that was to last for just 7 months. Just in the manner as he was shut out of his victory in 2015, he adopted the same method of his then cheats. He went forward shutting down and out his opponents till he was outsmarted at the Supreme Court. For us, it was an art of God because if God never permitted it, that wouldn't have happened. Again, we will reecho our creed that every leadership is ordained by God. But in addition, a people deserve their leadership.

To this end, KIVOrg as a movement with sound and informed philosophy have also moved on and upon her ideals. We shall support all the elected leaders of our constituencies, the state and federal government going forward. We however will engage in our usual and constructive criticism of the system and acts of the political office holders of the day. We must remain the gadfly of the country, our state, our constituencies and communities. We shall keep turning the eyes and tickling the attention of the government at all levels, government officials of all classes and our representatives towards the needs of our people. We also believe that our ideas, ideals and concepts of leadership in out kitty remainsl the best for our people. We have also resolved to keep them safe and intact for our people. We are ready, willing and able to always give our views and knowledge to those already in position to enable them deliver good rates to our people. We shall continue in this regard.

However, knowing that our principal and leader, the Philosopher King KEMKA S. IBEJI, at the moment is not a member of any political party, pending when he will join anyone as consultations are on top gears, and following the reality that KIVOrg is not a mere political association but a movement of good purpose for our people and humanity at large, we shall keep promoting good leadership across political parties.

In this vein, we call on all former aspirants and candidates of all political parties during the 2019 election to stop campaigns as elections are over but help those in power to deliver democratic dividends to our people. This goes from State Constituency, Federal Constituency, Senatorial zones to the Governorship and the Presidency. Let's join hands to ensure that those in power deliver the goodness of their positions to our people.

We in KIVOrg, in our selflessness and altruism, believe that this does not diminish us in any way but shades our benevolent light to the people as true Servants and purposeful greats who came to donate our knowhow, tact, epistemic prowess and logical frame for the good of our people. We also have kept close touch and relationship with our people knowing their problems that keeps changing everyday as life wakes us to living. Our vision, mission and objectives are daily reviewed for potency as a solution provider to our social, economic and political challenges. This is the philosophy of our movement and we hold fast and tenaciously to it knowing that God, through our people, will hand us staff of service one day soon to mix our values in leadership for the good of this land.

Nevertheless, we call our elected leaders of this dispensation to wake up to their duties. They should look at our people and know that they are the real owners of the power and authority they have in their hands today.

Especially to our dear brother Hon. Emeka Chinedu, we urge you to deal in the Federal House of Representatives with the hindsight of the predicaments of our people. The almost absolute infrastructural nihilism, lack of social amenities, poverty in the land, poor health system, the lack in skilled manpower, growing unemployment, underemployment, lack of good opportunities for startups, want of experiences and exposures, and the need of entrepreneurial elevation in Ahiazu/Ezinihitte Mbaise Federal Constituency are huge tasks starring in your face. The task ahead is enormous but with wisdom, you will do the best of your wits and tenure. We pray for your success and wish you well because your performance will be of good reflection on our people.

We extend such hands of prayers, grace and support to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari and the Governor of Imo State, HE Dist. Sen. Hope Uzodinma. We pray God to grant them and the rest of you the wisdom, knowledge and conviction to deal with power on our people in favour of the utmost good for the greatest number.
