VISION STATEMENT: To build a new Ezinihitte of pride to all her citizens through representation that promises of human capital growth, social & infrastructural developments, value re-orientation and image overhauling.

Profile: Our man for Ezinihitte Constituency; Imo State House of Assembly 2015 is Mr. UCHENNA DESTINY MADU. He is son of the soil. Born to the family of Mr. & Mrs. Kem Madu from Umuzu in Eziudo Ezinihitte Mbaise, Imo State. He is a graduate of Ahmadu Bello University Zaria. He is a vibrant business entrepreneur, an educationist and human resources expert. He is presently the CEO of NATIONAL WATCH NEWSPAPER, MD/CEO of SOFASE PROPERTIES & INVESTMENT, and President/CEO of KIMAD PRESS. He is a committed farmer. Mr. UCHENNA DESTINY MADU is happily married and has a blessed family.

PROJECTS IN PROSPECT

Education: 

Since we do not boast of having the bogus resources to give free education to all, we have taken out time to engage our home research group to find out the areas we can touch with minimal resources but make maximum impact on the educational life of our people. We have therefore resolved to build a modern-class library for Ezinihitte indigenes. Remember library enhances quality education and spreads educational aides to all and sundry. For this reason we need the commitment of all our traditional leaders, all Professors and scholars of Ezinihitte origin (home and abroad), and all students for this project.

Cooperative: 

To enhance group and communal economic growth, we have put up machineries to establish OGANIHU EZINIHITTE COOPERATIVE SOCIETY. This will cater for the financing of all our SME and graduate entrepreneur projects. We are earmarking the initial sum of Ten Million (10,000,000) Naira for the take-off of this socio-economic project. This will create jobs at different levels, bridge financing gap for new business entrants, bring development, attract better welfare for our people, and deliver economic freedom. This project will take care of giving out soft loans to our people. This will further in the long run attract investments (nationally and internationally).

Professional Trainings & Vocational: 

It is now obvious to the world that there is more to class-room education. This is why we intend to build this project by bringing professionals in different areas of life to come in and train our people –young and old – in various areas of business like; fashion & design, soap-making, bead-making, perfumery, confectionery, etc.). We are also bringing in professionals in Human Resources, Sales & Marketing, Job creation and lots more. They will come in to train our people and give them professional knowledge on better ways to do what they are presently doing, train them on new ones, and educate them on how best to exchange their products and services for better values (money). They will however guide them in opening up new channels to sell what they have produced. This will bring in better welfare for our people.

Empowerment & Industry: 

Through our various training programmes, we will help those who are going into Small and Medium Scale Industries like production(s) in gaining some professional knowledge from production, packaging, to final distribution. The various professional training initiative will imbue the Youth and other people in this scheme with managerial skills. Also, through the OGANIHU EZINIHITTE COOPERATIVE SOCIETY, we will establish them with financial and other take-off resources.

Agriculture: Because we do not really have enough land in our place for expansive crop farming, our people have always engaged in subsistence farming. We will turn this disadvantage to blessing by bringing up other possible agricultural schemes and areas that our resources can manage for a better living. It is in this reasoning that we will focus more on livestock agriculture. To empower our people on livestock farming, we are looking into assistance towards poultry farming, fishery, and sales of livestock as different parts of agricultural business. We will therefore work with our finance group in the cooperative/micro-finance to help those we will train in this direction with funding and sponsorship.

Jobs and Employment: 

In addition to our committed projects which will create thousands of jobs at various ranks, we will be working with the government at all levels (Local, State & Federal) to influence jobs in such areas for our people. We are also consulting with some Human Resources Organizations and Institutions to incorporate our job seekers’ database (which will be created by us very soon) for massive employment in diverse areas and classes.

Infrastructural Development: 

This is where our influences and relationships work for us and our people. We are in good contacts with our good people and great friends across Nigeria and beyond. Also from the state to the federal government, we are going to network with our brothers and sisters in all state and federal ministries and parastatals, we will also work with our friends to influence projects in the favour of Ezinihitte in such areas as; roads, water, schools, health, recreation, education, scholarships, and lots of others.

Sports/Culture: 

We have very many talented youths whose God-given talents and values are not given maximum opportunities to thrive. In sports we are going to create events such as inter-community competitions. Through this we will be attracting national sports organizations and expose our talented youths to domestic and off-shore opportunities to make best use of their great skills.

In culture we have to promote other cultural festivities that can attract government attention, catch the fancy of international communities and bring further development to our people. It does not come without benefits for better life and greater welfare. It will also enable people to come close to us and know who we really are because enemies have gone ahead to drag the name MBAISE to the mud and we need to clear this as well since philosophers will tell us that name is everything.

Old People Care Centre: 

This centre will be a place of holiday for active aged people who still have and enjoy the care of their family. For those who do not have those to immediately care for them, those who have some old-age health challenges, those who will prefer to be with their mates in age and those whose families are not fully in good state to care for them, this will be a home for them. Here we will be engaging the services of psychologists, nurses and consulting medical personnel for constant and consistent care of our aged ones. This is borne out of the knowledge that age shouldn’t be a curse.

Mr. UCHENNA DESTINY MADU is our choice for Ezinihitte Constituency; Imo State House of Assembly 2015; let us give him our maximum support!!!
